Miami Gardens is making tremendous strides, and we’re just getting started. This plan is about strengthening what works, and elevating every neighborhood in District 2.

Every block matters. From beautification projects to affordable housing development, I’ll work to make District 2 a reflection of the love and pride we all have for Miami Gardens.
Progress through Prosperity
Let’s create a local economy where residents can thrive. I’ll support small businesses, push for living-wage job creation, and champion a City Center strategy that keeps opportunity right here in our community.
Powering Potential: Salute the Youth
Our young people are full of brilliance and potential. I’ll expand programs like Workforce Readiness Advancement & Placement (WRAP) to include mentorship, STEM, arts, and leadership pathways, so our next generation is prepared to lead.
Partnerships for Public Safety
Public safety starts with public trust. I’ll work to strengthen community policing, launch new neighborhood watch groups, and support youth diversion programs that offer second chances and real support.
Protecting and Prioritizing Our Pioneers
Our “seasoned” citizens are a living legacy. I’ll advocate for expanded wellness programs, better transportation, and thoughtful housing solutions that let our elders age with dignity and pride.
